Dressed in Love

Is love really overrated? Either way, one’s wardrobe should certainly reap the benefits of St. Valentine’s holiday. After all, it’s a great excuse to go shopping ;).

The first look is the one that I would wear for the festivities. Adding some subtle lace underneath a well-fitting suit is an easy way to vamp up a classic. As for the sneakers, my mind was filled with street style inspiration and how the athletic shoe has transcended work out attire. It’s a great way to combine style and practicality.

If you prefer something more on the colorful side, you can’t go wrong with an LRD (little red dress). The quirky Kate Spade clutch was the main influence for the second look. Keeping the rest of the pieces light makes for a quick way to be ready for a night on the town.

  1. Impeccable styling! Your second ensemble is aptly titled. The gold accent pieces play beautifully with the scarlet dress and the Kate Spade clutch is adorably playful. Number one gets my vote though…the subtle flirtiness of the bralet, your perfectly chosen accessories, and the ease and comfort of the sneakers make for a comfortably chic night out!
