My Favorite Looks at the 2015 Golden Globes

The Golden Globes red carpet never fails to impress. Some stylists opted to dress their celebrities in a more classic look while others took greater risks. Lorde immediately caught my eye in her glamorous and slightly oversized suit and diamond accents. Jessica Chastain radiated an old Hollywood vibe in her bronze Atelier Versace gown. What was your favorite look of the night?

Wildest Looks at the 2014 Met Gala

One of the things the Met Gala is famous for is its elaborate red carpet scene. After last year’s fabulous punk theme, I was eager to see what the celebrities’ stylists would have up their sleeve next. My favorite look of the night was Kirsten Dunst’s Death Star gown; which was quite appropriate considering it was Star Wars day on May 4th. May the force be with you!

My Favorite Looks at the 2014 Oscars

The Oscars 2014 red carpet last night was filled with gorgeous gowns far as the eye can see! So much so, that instead of having a top 5 best and worst list, I would like to show only my absolute favorite looks from the event.

Lupita Nyong’o in Prada
Nyong’o wowed yet again in a pale blue and was accessorized with gold. She has become a new fashion icon of mine.

Cate Blanchett in Armani
Anyone would feel like a princess in this sparkling gown that was practically dripping with beads.

Gabourey Sidibe in Theia
Sidibe packed in the wow factor with plenty of texture and sequins.

Charlize Theron in Dior
The simplicity of this look is what makes it so fabulous. A single statement necklace accented the gown’s sleek shape.

Kate Hudson in Atelier Versace
This silky white number was far from boring with its plunging neckline and delicate cape.

Chrissy Teigen in Monique Lhuillier
Pretty in pink, Teigen decided to go daring with a bold floral print.

Amy Adams in Gucci
Adams looked as classy and sophisticated as ever in this navy ensemble paired with coral dangle earrings.

Best and Worst Looks at the 2013 American Music Awards

Music award red carpets can deliver some of the coolest, most buzz-worthy looks of the season, and the AMA’s are no exception. I was eager to see what was worn and to pick my favorites of the night. So without further ado, here are my top 5 best and worst looks! All ratings are based on my own opinion.

Top 5 Best Looks:

Taylor Swift
Cutout dresses have become an escalating trend.

Ariana Grande
Grande has proven to be a rising star in both music and fashion.

Jordin Sparks
A studded leather bodice with bold accessories was a great combination.

Katy Perry
This look was garden party gorgeous and complete with a Webster’s Dictionary book clutch.

Jennifer Hudson
Fashion critics have either been loving or hating this look, but I think it was the best of the night! From the interesting hem to the blue eyeliner, Hudson looked fierce!

Top 5 Worst Looks:

Lil’ Mama
Matching your hair to your dress rarely ever works.

Kelly Osbourne
Kelly was drowning in this sea of tulle.

T-Boz and Chilli
TLC has reunited! (with their 1990’s wardrobe)

Heidi Klum
Klum donned this tacky lingerie/paper shredder disaster.

Phoebe Price
O_o…um, where should I begin?

Best and Worst Looks at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards

As a fashion junkie, I’m always more excited about the red (or blue) carpet looks than the actual awards show. It was the Billboard Music Awards last night, and I was both excited and disappointed about what the stars wore. Some made a match in fashion heaven, and some were just plain outdated and tacky.

Here are my top 5 best and worst looks of the night! All ratings are based on my own opinion.

Top 5 Best Looks:

Kacey Musgraves
A pop of color has become the new staple

Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad
The dress is gorgeous, but I’m not feeling the satin, pointy heels

Kelly Rowland in Rami Al Ali
Head to toe sparkles is a classic

Selena Gomez in Atelier Versace
A fresh spin on neon

Miley Cyrus in Balmain
Glamorous rocker done right

Top 5 Worst Looks:

Jenny McCarthy
Coachella was last month Jenny

Avril Lavigne
Dominatrix couture

I feel for that poor dog

Madonna in Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci
The 1980’s called, they said keep the outfit

Z LaLa
If you’re going to wear Christmas bows, at least cover all the goodies
